Seydlitzweg

History

Originally named after Friedrich von Seydlitz. After the war, initially renamed to ul. Roty (Street of the Rota). As early as 1947, it bore the name that is still valid today, ul. Nowowiejskiego, after Feliks Nowowiejski (1877 - 1946), the composer of the melody to this oath. The name ul. Nowowiejska (New Village Street), which appears only once on a map from 1964, seems to be based on an error.
