Am Holzraum
Drewnica
History
This lane was created after the demolition of the ramparts and received its name in 1903. The name refers to conditions in this area at the beginning of the 15th century, when the boundary between the Old Town and Young Town timber yards was located here. After the war, this street was called Drewnica (Timber Yard) as of late December 1953. It was later renamed after the Polish actor and theater director Stefan Jaracz.
