An der Schönfelder Brücke
Podmiejska
History
This street takes its name from the bridge over the Radaune Canal on the route via Schönfeld (Łostowice) to Berent (Kościerzyna). In its lower part it forms the boundary between the estates of the Pelplin Monastery (Pelpliner Hopfenbruch) to the north and the Ohra Hop Marsh (Ohrscher Hopfenbruch), belonging to Danzig, to the south. The eastern continuation of this boundary was probably formed by the former Boltengasse. The street was occasionally also called Schönfelder Brücke.
