History
Bärenhof ("Bear Court") was a dead-end street branching off Fleischergasse. It took its name from a property on Fleischergasse that had been listed in the hereditary register (Erbbuch) since the 17th century under the name "Weißer Bär" ("White Bear"). The estate comprised ten apartments and five stables.
