Breite Gasse

In 1639, this alley was not yet listed in the Petershagen inheritance book. In 1761, it was recorded under the name Breite Gasse (Broad Alley). It was later renamed Küstergasse (Sexton's Alley), though the reason is unclear – possibly to avoid confusion with the similarly named Breitgasse. Today's Polish name, ul. Kaznodziejska, translates to Preacher's Street. Note that this is a different street from Breitgasse.
