The first two of the above changes refer to the section between Faulgraben and Böttchergasse. The remaining four refer to the section between Böttchergasse and Baumgartscher Gasse. The designation Kumstgasse ended in 1899. Admirable is the ability of the old Danzigers to turn even mundane cabbage (Kumst) in an alley into high art (Kunst) in the same alley.
