History

Named after Klemens Delbrück, Secretary of State of the Interior, Lord Mayor of Danzig (1896–1902), and Governor of West Prussia (1902–1905). Today it bears the name of the Polish Nobel Prize laureate Maria Skłodowska-Curie.
