Elisabethwall
History
The street was created in 1897 after the demolition of the rampart fortifications on the site of Bastion Elisabeth. Today's street Wały Jagiellońskie consists of the former Elisabethwall and Dominikswall. The name translates to Jagiellonian Rampart.
