Große Gasse

Wielka

History

First development from 1658 can be documented as part of the Eimermacherhof (Bucket Makers' Yard). By 1763, the street already existed in its present extent but still had no name; its emergence can only be established between 1800 and 1817.

After the war, which left only ruins in this area, the lane still appears on a 1946 map under its name correctly translated into Polish as ul. Wielka, only to then disappear for good.
