Große Mühlengasse

In the 1456 document delineating the parishes of Saint Catherine and Saint Bartholomew, the "platea molendini" is also mentioned; apparently this refers to today's Große Mühlengasse. In the inheritance registers of the 16th and 17th centuries, both lanes were already regularly called Große and Kleine Mühlengasse (Greater and Lesser Mill Lane).

Even today, the street bears the translated name Mill Lane in Polish.
