Johann-Rickmers-Straße
Gościnna
History
This street actually forms the southwestern corner of the old village center of Ohra. Here stood the St. Georg Church (built in 1823 by K. W. Schinkel), the new Protestant cemetery, and also a small tram depot. This was the terminus of tram line No. 6 from Danzig. Renamed in 1933 after the National Socialist Johann Rickmers (1881–1923). After the war, it was called for some years, in translation, Street of the Struggle of Youth; now it is Hospitable Street.
