Karrenwall

History

This street was created in 1903 on the site of the demolished Bastion Karren. Its name in turn goes back to the Karrentor (Cart Gate) or Karrenmacher Tor (Cartmaker Gate) that was located here until the beginning of the 17th century. After the war, the streets Karrenwall and Wiebenwall were united to form ul. Okopowa (Trench Street in translation).
