Kleine Gerbergasse
History
This lane formed part of the wall passage provided for in the charter of the Main Town. The section that later became the Kleine Gerbergasse was associated with the tanning trade from 1633 onward. From 1691 to 1845 it was erroneously called "im Parcham," since the Parcham or barbican was actually located on the other side of the wall.
