Kleine Scheibenrittergasse
History
The name actually comes from the glaziers who lived here, who were called Schievenrieser in 15th-century Low German. What could be made of this simple designation can be seen above. On maps from the end of the 18th century, both a Kleine and a Große Scheibenrittergasse appear. Today it is quite prosaically called, in translation, Glazier's Lane.
