Krebsmarkt
Bojowców
History
The name Krebsmarkt (Crayfish Market) has been found on maps since 1763 for the present-day area. The crayfish and other crustaceans that were abundant in the adjacent Radaune Canal were traded here. From 1945 this street was called ul. Bojowców (Fighters' Street) for some years. The present-day Polish name is a correct translation of the old German name.
