Mollwitzweg
Śmiała
History
This rather late-established street (after 1941) was named in commemoration of the Battle of Mollwitz. After the war, this street was renamed for a few years to ul. Śmiąła (Bold Street). Around 1954 it was then named after the Polish politician Zygmunt Modzelewski. The hopefully final renaming took place around 1992 — it was named after the highly distinguished Kashubian ethnographer and linguist Bernard Sychta.
