Parallel Weg
ks. Józefa Zator - Przytockiego
History
As late as the 1900 address book, this street was recorded as Parallel Weg, "undeveloped," whereas in the 1902 address book it appeared as Schwarzer Weg — "buildings under construction." After the war, this street bore the name of the Polish freedom fighter Józef Montwiłł-Mirecki. Only in 2006 was it renamed after the clergyman and World War II resistance fighter Józef Zator-Przytocki. In some post-war maps, this street was also recorded under the name ul. Czarna (Black Street).
