History

The name appears on city maps since 1763 for a narrow cross-lane between Kolkowgasse and Schleusengasse near the gun factory, which was built over after 1876.

In 1933, the original Ohra Rosengasse, like almost all surrounding streets, was given a hero's name. It was renamed after Field Marshal Erich von Ludendorff.
