Rossbachweg

Potokowa

History

Named after the site of a significant battle of the Seven Years' War (1757). After the war, it was first renamed to ul. Potokowa (Brook Street). When the International Esperanto World Congress was to take place in Warsaw in 1959, it was initially planned to name the former Kolkowgasse after the creator of the Lingvo Universala. Ultimately, however, they chose the former Rossbachweg, which bears this name to this day.
