Schützengasse

The platea VI comes from the fact that initially the streets on the Granary Island were numbered, once from the north toward Milchkannengasse, and a second time beginning at Milchkannengasse heading south. Thus our lane was simply called Sixth Street. What the three later names can be traced back to is unfortunately not known.
