St. Katharinenkirchenstieg

History

Known since 1624, but only for properties 1-10 at the Great Mill. The rest was called Kagelzippel or Kirchsteig until the end of the 18th century. Occasionally, until 1796, the entire lane (e.g. in 1796) was counted as part of Burggrafengasse. Only since 1817 in its known extent. Today, amusingly, its translated name means Little Catherine.
