Talmühler Weg

History

So named because it led from Pommersche Straße to the Talmühle (Valley Mill). According to legend, Joseph von Eichendorff is said to have written his song "In einem kühlen Grunde" in this very mill. Since the song was composed in 1809, but Eichendorff only stayed in this area from 1821 to 1824, it likely remains just a legend.
