Wassergasse

The designation platea VI comes from the fact that the streets on Speicherinsel were initially numbered, once from the north toward Milchkannengasse, and a second time starting at Milchkannengasse heading south. Thus our lane was simply called Sixth Street. Unfortunately, it is not known what the three later names derive from.
