Andreas-Bauriedl-Straße

Raduńska

History

Runs in a north-south direction between Schönfelder Weg/An der Schönfelder Brücke and Höhne Park. In stretches it runs directly along the western bank of the Radaune Canal. Until World War I it was known as Radaunengasse. This street received the name of a "brown hero" before 1937. The renaming was never accepted by the "natives." The new name can only be found in official documents and on maps. Today it is once again called Radaunestraße (in translation).
