Totengasse

For the longest time it was simply called Street (via). The later designation Erichgang naturally derives from the personal name of the same sound. The two most recent names of this lane are determined by its location near St. Barbara Church. Initially situated next to the adjacent cemetery, it was also named after it. From 1901 it was called St. Barbaragasse, after the church. Even today it still bears the translated name St. Barbaragasse.
